Owners
Lara & Jamie McCall and their three sons have put thirteen years of passion into creating their property into an intensive certified organic farm. A remarkably productive 15 hectares with commercial crops of wine, eggs, macadamias, avocados, capers, olives and animals. Family owned and operated, the McCall’s aim to be self-sufficient, growing their own food. Staying at Burnside allows you to learn about organic farming and hopefully inspire you to grow your own food.

Who should stay?
- Food & wine lovers who are interested in organic food production, care for the environment and enjoy nature.
- Couples, honeymooners, families and small groups who wish to experience the real Margaret River and avoid mainstream tourism.
Is there anyone who might find it unsuitable?
- People who do not like insects or animals may not enjoy their stay. Being in a bush setting there is abundant wildlife of all sorts.
- We do not use chemicals or insecticides, including flyspray, and do not welcome their use in our bungalows.
- The bungalows do not have air conditioning as we believe it is not necessary in our climate.
- Our Driveways are gravel, not bitumen.
- Sorry no dogs or pets.

If you have any concerns about staying in a bush/farm setting we suggest you contact the Margaret River Visitor Centre and ask for an alternative. |
